The extra-strength Swan Neck Nasal Aspirator is the quick and easy way to clear your baby's nasal passages and ease congestion. The enhanced food-grade silicone tip is gentle on baby's noses, with grip grooves on both sides of the bulb body for easy grip. lt creates strong yet gentle suction for effective removal of either thick or runny mucus. What's more, the split body-and-tip design keeps noises and airflow away from baby with no backflow, making it easier for them to accept, The transparent tube, tip and body allow you to track nasal discharge with ease. The body's anti-slip grooves let you know exactly where to squeeze for maximum effectiveness and control. lt even comes with a dedicated tube cleaning brush to prevent any nasty buildup inside! No batteries are required, making this the simple, eco-conscious choice for your baby's health.
1. Hold the tip with one hand and the bulb body in the other.
2. Only the very end of the tip needs to fit inside baby's nostril - it should be snug and comfortable.
3. Squeeze the indication grooves on the bulb body to build suction. Release your grip slowly to suction fluid.
4. If more suctioning is required, squeeze bulb again to remove any remaining mucus. The valve prevents backflow, so removing between squeezes is not necessary.
PLEASE NOTE: This product is designed to suction up thin or thicker nasal fluid rather than solid material. Check all parts are firmly attached with no gaps before each use to ensure effective suctioning. If mucus is dry or sticky, use a drop or two of saline or freshly expressed breastmilk to soften it (one nostril at a time).
Disassemble and wash before and after each use. Always sterilise the aspirator after any illness. Although dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing the aspirator in warm soapy water, then rinsing and drying thoroughly. To clean, scrub thoroughly with warm, soapy water and rinse well. To clean the airways of the silicone tips and tube, use the included tube cleaning brush, any other small brush, or run clean, warm water directly into the airway to thoroughly flush it out. Hand wash the cleaning brush with warm soapy water or a gentle sponge and rinse thoroughly. To sterilise the aspirator, use a steam steriliser or boil in water for 2-3 minutes. Brush NOT suitable for microwaves, sterilisers or boiling water due to stainless steel and nylon components. Only soft bristle brushes or soft sponges should be used to clean this product. Hard scourers may scratch the surface. Allow to dry completely before storing. Store product in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
